In 2025, the Greater Jakarta region hosts around 660 MW of installed IT capacity, projected to reach 1.1 GW by 2030, a strong annual growth rate of about 11%. This surge is driven by three major forces: the rise of cloud computing, AI’s growing demand for processing power, and regulations that require data to stay within Indonesia.

The year 2025 marks a turning point for the industry. Major developments like DCI Indonesia’s AI-ready JK6 facility (+36 MW)1, Equinix’s CBD data center (JK1), and ST Telemedia GDC’s new campuses reflect how quickly capacity is scaling.
